Job summary

Cii Engineered Systems is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician for our Richmond, VA service team. You will service, troubleshoot, and repair a range of commercial HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and air handling systems.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, replacing defective parts, and maintaining clear communication with clients and colleagues. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a Master or Journeyman license strongly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Master or journeyman license strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience servicing HVAC equipment.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, pumps, air handling units, rooftop units, and split systems.
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Test joints and electrical circuits for leaks and continuity.
• Maintain constant communication with clients, team members, and office.
• Apply HVAC knowledge to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and troubleshoot chillers, boilers, pumps, air handling units, rooftop units, and split systems
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring of multiple devices
• Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks as well as electrical circuits and components for continuity
• Constant and professional communication with clients, all team members, and office
• Effectively use knowledge of the principles of HVAC equipment

Qualifications and preferred experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Master or journeymen license strongly preferred
• 5+ years of experience in servicing HVAC equipment
• Exceptional troubleshooting and customer service skills
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Valid driving license and clean driving record, required
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings during employment
• Ability to pass a background check
