Job summary

Rowbel Services seeks an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain commercial and residential systems. You will work to keep rooftops, boilers, chillers and heat pumps running at peak performance, interpreting wiring diagrams and safety standards.

This role demands travel to various job sites and a commitment to quality and client communication. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HVAC, VRF experience, EPA 608 and the ability to read technical docs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with VRF systems and light commercial work.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers and heat pumps.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC equipment.
• Replace or repair defective components such as motors, compressors, fans and thermostats.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and technical manuals.
• Communicate findings and recommendations with clients and team members.
• Maintain service records with work performed, parts used and system conditions.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes and company policies.
