Job summary

F.E. Moran Group of Companies in Northbrook, IL seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC service and maintenance projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with Sales during bidding, plan and prepare projects, and ensure safe, on-time delivery of all contracted work.

The candidate will manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with diverse audiences, and travel to client sites as needed to drive project success.

Qualifications

• In-depth industry and HVAC project management knowledge required; ability to read and understand construction prints and bid documents.
• Extensive previous experience with Commercial HVAC systems.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to varied levels of audiences.
• Analyze, think critically, negotiate, and problem-solve; quickly adjust to a changing environment; manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
• Available as needed; able to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales during bidding and create project outcome projection.
• Oversee a variety of projects from beginning to end.
• Order equipment and materials, schedule manpower, submit Change Orders, manage worksite safety, and maintain required project documentation.
• Plan, coordinate, oversee, and maintain effective field operations and teams.
• Effectively accomplish the scope of contracted work within allotted budget and time schedules.
• Provide exceptional guidance and support to all stakeholders, partners, and team members.
