Job summary

F.E. Moran Group of Companies in the Chicago area seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to plan, lead and oversee complex HVAC projects ($5+ million) from inception to completion.

You will guide field operations, manage multi-project portfolios, and drive successful outcomes for clients. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and extensive HVAC project management experience, with strong leadership, communication, and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management or relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in HVAC large projects (>$5 million).
• Proven leadership to guide, manage, and direct work teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication across varied audiences.
• Able to analyze, negotiate, and adapt to changing environments; capable of managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a specific project or a range of projects from initiation to completion.
• Prioritize multiple projects at different stages of work.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise field operations and teams to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure contracted scope is completed within budget and deadlines.

About You:

• KNOWLEDGEABLE: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management or relevant field or equivalent experience; in-depth industry and HVAC project management knowledge required
• EXPERIENCED: Extensive previous experience in HVAC large projects ($5+ million) with demonstrated success
• A LEADER: Guide, manage, motivate, and direct work teams
• A COMMUNICATOR: Effectively communicate verbally and written to varied levels of audiences
• ADAPTABLE: Analyze, think critically, negotiate, and problem-solve; quickly adjust to a changing environment; successfully manage multiple priorities under time constraints
• FLEXIBLE: Available as needed; able to travel to client sites
