Job summary

AMPAM Parks Mechanical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver medium-to-large HVAC service projects across California. You will lead project teams, manage budgets, and serve as the primary contact for clients and subcontractors.

The role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, high quality, and profitable performance, requiring strong communication and leadership across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of progressive experience managing HVAC service and/or owner-direct projects.
• Ability to manage medium-to-large project budgets from $100K to $1M+.
• Proven track record delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Spectrum or similar CM software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of assigned HVAC projects.
• Supervise Project Coordinators and Assistant Project Managers to achieve schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
• Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and accountability.
• Maintain project-level budgets, track costs, and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Monitor cash flow, forecast financial performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead change order management, cost recovery, and margin improvement strategies.
