Job summary

AMPAM CORP is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium-to-large HVAC service projects in California. You will drive planning, execution, and closeout, while managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships to deliver safely, on time, and within defined quality standards.

You will supervise project teams, coordinate with designers, engineers, and purchasing, and optimize cash flow and profitability across projects in a dynamic mechanical contracting environment.

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of progressive experience managing HVAC Service / owner direct projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage medium-to-large project budgets ($100k–$1M+).
• Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Spectrum and/or other construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of assigned HVAC projects.
• Supervise Project Coordinators & Assistant Project Manager teams to achieve schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
• Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and accountability.
• Maintain project-level budgets, track costs, and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Monitor cash flow, forecast financial performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
