Job summary

Frontier A/C, Heating, & Refrigeration, a small HVAC service company in Mission, TX, seeks a Service Manager to lead the service department, oversee technicians, vehicles, and office operations, and ensure high-quality workmanship for customers. The role requires coordinating with the team to shorten downtime, provide accurate price estimates, and drive revenue growth.

You will manage invoicing, warranty issues, parts ordering, and inventory while aligning with seasonal demand and contract sales

Responsibilities

• Oversee Service Technicians, dispatchers, and parts personnel as applicable.
• Provide price estimations for parts and labor and estimate project hours.
• Ensure profitability of the service department and maintain quality workmanship.
• Review service invoices daily and ensure detailed invoicing and accurate pricing.
• Order parts, coordinate with the team to minimize downtime and schedule work.
• Monitor warranties and coordinate with vendors for issues.
• Maintain service inventory policies, pricing, and vehicle/tool readiness.
• Plan for seasonal fluctuations by promoting maintenance contracts and meeting sales goals.
• Track technician commissions and conduct performance reviews.
