Job summary

Done! Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical in Denver seeks an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our residential service team and coach technicians on performance, customer service, and field operations.

You'll conduct weekly 1:1s, ride-alongs, and development plans, track KPIs, collaborate with dispatch, and ensure accountability. Join a culture focused on teamwork, growth, and doing the job right.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC.
• Hands-on field experience in the home-service industry.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable.
• Excellent customer-service and problem-resolution skills.
• Comfortable getting in the truck and in the field with technicians.
• Ability to understand and manage KPIs and performance metrics.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HVAC service team; hold them accountable.
• Conduct weekly 1:1s, technician ride-alongs, and coaching sessions.
• Develop technicians in technical ability, customer service, communication, and performance.
• Track team performance, KPIs, and department goals.
• Provide technical support on challenging calls; work with dispatch.
• Identify underperformance and create improvement plans.
• Support culture with clear expectations and recognition.
• Update GM on performance, budget projections, KPIs.
• Be available on-call to assist team and escalate issues.

What You'll Do

• Lead, manage, and hold the HVAC service team accountable
• Conduct weekly 1:1s, technician ride-alongs, and coaching sessions
• Develop technicians in technical ability, customer service, communication, and performance
• Track team performance, KPIs, and department goals
• Provide technical support and help technicians work through challenging calls
• Partner closely with dispatch to ensure we're getting the right technician to the right call
• Identify underperformance and create clear plans for improvement
• Help create a culture where expectations are clear and great performance is recognized
• Keep the GM updated on department performance, budget projections, and KPIs
• Be available to support the team when an employee is on call and an issue needs to be escalated

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of management or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC
• Previous hands-on field experience in the home-service industry
• A leader who is comfortable getting in the truck and into the field with technicians
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable
• Strong customer-service and problem-resolution skills
