CURRENT OPPORTUNITY: HVAC SERVICE MANAGER

The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for managing HVAC projects and activities within the organization. This includes coordinating projects with technical teams and vendors to ensure proper staffing and milestone achievement. The manager oversees subordinate staff in daily operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• Manage service work and site maintenance for national accounts.
• Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Use hand tools, blueprints, and specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed.
• Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts and coordinating work.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment, keeping records of service and repairs.
• Document work and maintain files, including daily reports and job progress.
• Serve as a direct contact with customers, managing relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Order parts, document costs, and ensure timely submission of paperwork.
• Stay current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Read and interpret product specifications.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must possess mechanical hand tools.
• Ability to work with hands and multitask.
• Advanced HVAC knowledge is required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Regular travel, including some overnight stays.
