Job summary

Townsend Energy in Manchester, NH seeks an experienced HVAC Service - Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, service and repair residential and light commercial systems across first and second shifts. You’ll work with oil, propane, natural gas and electric HVAC equipment, servicing heat pumps, boilers and ductless units while delivering top customer care.

Candidates should have EPA certification, a high school diploma, and HVAC training; licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC service experience and AC service expertise.
• EPA Universal Certification is required or desired.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints for installations.
• Experience consulting customers on repair vs. replacement decisions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnostics, service, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• AC service, repair, and maintenance across oil, propane, natural gas, and electric systems.
• Work on propane, electric heating/cooling, heat pumps, boilers, and duct systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and educate homeowners on systems.
• Consult with homeowners; contact tech support for diagnostics; daily tablet use.

Job description

HVAC Service - Maintenance Technician | $32.00 to $50.00 per hour, depending on experience and shift

Pay Range

• 1st Shift | $32.00 to $45.00 + per hour, depending on individuals' capabilities
• 2nd Shift | $38.00 - $50.00 per hour | must have AC, oil & propane experience
• Weekends Only | $32.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on individuals' capabilities

Work Schedule

• 1st Shift | 7:30am - 4:00pm | Monday to Friday
• 2nd Shift | 3:00pm - 11:00pm | Monday to Friday
• Weekends Only | 7:00am - 5:00pm | Saturday & Sunday

Job Duties

• Troubleshooting, diagnostics, service, repair, and maintenance of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
• AC service, repair, and maintenacne
• Working with oil, propane, natural gas, and electric HVAC systems
• Propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers
• Providing excellent customer service
• Consulting with and educating homeowners on systems and products
• Ability to contact tech support with diagnostic questions
• Daily use of tablet
