Job summary

GPAC is seeking an organized, customer-focused Service Dispatcher to coordinate daily HVAC service operations. You will schedule and dispatch service technicians, communicate with customers, monitor progress, and ensure calls are completed efficiently with a high level of professionalism.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of HVAC dispatching experience, strong multitasking and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC or related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand technician skill sets and routing.
• Dependable and detail-oriented under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC service technicians based on priority, location, skill set, and availability.
• Receive and prioritize incoming service calls and customer inquiries.
• Communicate appointment times and service updates to customers.
• Monitor technician schedules and adjust assignments as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, customer information, and job statuses.
• Coordinate with technicians and other departments to resolve scheduling issues.
• Follow up on open service calls, delays, parts requirements, and customer concerns.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and maximize technician productivity.
• Ensure timely updates and a positive service experience.
• Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, warranty calls, and other admin functions.
• Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
