Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Coordinator to support Richmond Service Center operations onsite in Virginia. The role focuses on scheduling, dispatching, billing, and customer coordination to ensure timely startups and service delivery.

You will engage with technicians, manage documentation, and interact with customers to maintain high service standards. This position offers growth opportunities within a leading HVAC company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for startups, repairs, warranty, and maintenance.
• Handle customer inquiries and route questions of technical nature to the appropriate resource.
• Track time and attendance for technicians.
• Coordinate job startups and communicate with customers regarding scheduling and follow-up on jobs in progress/completed.
• Invoices and bills customers.
• Assist in performing local AP/AR functions and follow up with customer to ensure payment.
• Coordinate warranty administration, parts orders, and shipments.
• Answer telephones and greet customers; maintain professional contact.
• Maintain OSHA logs.
• Enter all information into ERP system (work orders, customer data, technician hours for billing).
• Ensure timely close-out on all work orders and related paperwork.
• Gather local prevailing wage data and report hours for PW jobs to HR.
• Maintain filing for office equipment.
• Provide notification of Workers' Compensation claims to insurance carrier.
