Job summary

Trane Technologies in Louisville, KY is seeking a Service Coordinator I to plan, coordinate, and direct activities of operational resources for service agreements and repairs. You will ensure proper labor and materials, communicate with Field Technicians, and align priorities with Service Managers to deliver efficient service.

Ideal candidates will have a college/technical certificate or HS diploma with experience, strong customer service, and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.

Qualifications

• Certificate/degree from college or technical school with one year related experience and/or training; or three years of related experience and/or training with HS Diploma/GED.
• No 4-year degree required; practical experience and skills are prioritized.
• Excellent Customer Service skills and being comfortable on the phone.
• Organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.
• Familiarity with Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service resources, dispatch and assigns team members to project.
• Schedule personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skill sets, and availability.
• Interact with Project Managers and HVAC Field Technician Supervisors to assign/dispatch Controls Technicians and HVAC Technicians.
• Coordinate operations interaction with the Parts Department and Acquisition, as necessary.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to the assigned staff, and responding to special requests.
• Generate work orders, review project paperwork, forward project paperwork to Project Administrators, and generate various reports.
