Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Service Coordinator for our Austin district. This in-office role supports scheduling, invoicing, and customer communication to ensure timely startups and ongoing service for HVAC projects.

Candidates should have 2+ years in mechanical/electrical/plumbing service, experience with HVAC technicians, and proficiency in Astea or similar service-tracking software. A strong MS Office skill set is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field strongly preferred.
• Experience working with HVAC Technicians

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for startups/repairs/warranty/maintenance.
• Respond to customer inquiries and route technical questions
• Track time and attendance for technicians
• Coordinate job startups and communicate scheduling with customers
• Invoice and bill customers
• Assist with AP/AR and ensure payments are received
• Coordinate warranty administration, parts orders, and track shipments
• Answer phones and greet customers professionally
• Assist new hires with onboarding paperwork
• Maintain OSHA logs and enter data into ERP system
• Close out work orders and file related paperwork
• Provide notification of Workers' Compensation claims
