Job summary

EMCOR Services Team Mechanical (ESTM) in the Chicago metro area is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Contract Sales Specialist. You will develop sales, profits and client relationships by selling commercial HVAC service maintenance programs for building systems.

The role emphasizes prospecting, presenting proposals, and collaborating with Operations and Sales to grow account performance and margins. Regular on-site client interactions required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of general sales experience
• Prospecting skills a must
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Independent decision making is required
• Computer skills using MS Office required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet MVR requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of the industry and EMCOR products through training and mentoring
• Estimate, price and sell service/preventive maintenance programs for commercial facilities and systems
• Research prospective service contracts through calls, visits, conferences, and networking; contact potential clients to develop relationships
• Establish relationships with prospective clients
• Assess and inventory mechanical systems to determine maintenance needs
• Follow up on territory leads and update CRM
• Collaborate with Sales Manager, Project Managers and Service Operations to improve account programs
• Drive sales growth, maximize profitability, and strengthen market share
• Prepare and deliver client presentations
• Develop, write and review client proposals including pricing and technical content
• Develop sales at defined margin levels to attain market share
