Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems. You will troubleshoot, service, and optimize chillers, AHUs, heat pumps, VAVs, DDCs, and related equipment while maintaining logs and reports.

The role requires reading sequences, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with a high-paced team. On-site work in Durham, NC, and on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required; 2-year HVAC certificate or state HVAC license.
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License required.
• Experience with industrial/commercial HVAC equipment; chillers a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains HVACR equipment per standards and reads operation sequences.
• Monitors and adjusts BMS; handles refrigerant, gauges and pumps.
• Records readings; documents logs and service reports.
• Assists with major repairs and PM optimization activities.
• Follows OSHA safety practices and uses PPE as required.
