STRM Recruiting partners with an HVAC firm in Baltimore to recruit a senior operations leader responsible for profit and loss across the service center. The role focuses on building a high-performing team, enforcing policy, and driving customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in rapid-service environments, strong financial acumen, and the ability to implement strategic programs to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years leading teams servicing B2C & B2B markets.
• Minimum 8 years leading a fast-paced service organization and growing a business.
• Bachelor’s degree required; 4 to 6 years related experience, or equivalent; Masters preferred.
• Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding revenue objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assuming full operational responsibility for profit and loss related activities.
• Establishing a team culture among service center personnel and holding the team to a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Consistently administering company policies and procedures throughout the service center.
• Monitoring and maintaining job satisfaction among personnel by completing annual performance evaluations and salary reviews.
• Preparing business forecasts, budgets, and other reports and monitoring the flow of paperwork.
• Recruiting, selecting, and training all service center employees.
• Conducting financial analysis to identify trends and taking immediate action when needed.
• Optimizing the service center to improve efficiency and task completion.
• Developing programs and executing plans to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Maintaining knowledge of competitors and market innovations.
• Partnering with local management to maintain best practices for safety and sales generation.
• Service center managers should spend at least 5% of their time in the field.
• Manage three or more front line managers indirectly supervising field teams.
