Job summary

Gustave A Larson Company seeks a motivated Service Advisor to assist dealers and customers daily in our Fort Collins, CO area. The role centers on strong customer service, technical HVACR knowledge, and cross‑branch support for Trane, Mitsubishi, and related equipment.

The position requires customer interaction, with emphasis on educating customers, supporting warranty cost control, and providing product application and service guidance. HVACR experience and NATE certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• HVACR degree or certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• Service Advisor experience preferred.
• NATE certification desired for furnace/AC work.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide service advice and guidance by phone or in person.
• Help control warranty costs.
• Assist with developing and presenting product application, installation, and service programs.
• Support Sales Consultants and Store Managers with dealer training.
• Create educational newsletters and memos for dealers.
• Manage service and parts operations at branch levels.
• Perform equipment inspections at local and remote locations.
• Read and explain wiring diagrams and piping schematics.
• Educate dealers and customers on best practices and processes.
