Job summary

F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, & Electrical seeks an HVAC Selling Technician to diagnose and repair residential systems and confidently upsell new installations during service calls.

You’ll educate customers, present options, and close on the best solution for comfort and efficiency. Expect a performance-driven role with signing bonuses, annual licenses bonuses, and year-round work from a large customer base; company-provided truck, comprehensive benefits, and growth

Qualifications

• 2+ years in residential HVAC service, repair, or sales.
• EPA certification required; journeyman license preferred.
• Strong technical skills and ability to explain options clearly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems on service calls.
• Identify when a system replacement is in the homeowner’s best interest.
• Educate customers and provide honest, professional recommendations.
• Sell new systems on the spot when appropriate to meet homeowner needs.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to build trust.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems efficiently and effectively
• Identify opportunities where a system replacement is in the homeowner’s best interest
• Educate customers on their options, providing honest and professional recommendations

What We’re Looking For

• HVAC experience - 2+ years in residential HVAC service, repair, or sales
• Strong technical skills - Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC issues
• Sales-driven mindset - Confidence in recommending and selling new systems during service calls
• Excellent communication - Ability to explain technical issues in a way homeowners understand
• EPA certification (NATE certification is a plus!)
• A positive, customer-focused attitude
