Job summary

F.H. Furr is seeking an HVAC Selling Technician who can diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems and confidently recommend and sell new installations during service calls. This role combines technical service with on-site sales to maximize homeowner comfort and system longevity.

Earned income includes base pay with commission opportunities, comprehensive benefits, and a company-provided truck and materials. Strong communication and EPA certification are required, with NATE a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in residential HVAC service, repair, or sales.
• EPA certification (NATE certification is a plus).
• A positive, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Identify opportunities where a system replacement is in the homeowner’s best interest.
• Educate customers on their options, providing honest and professional recommendations.
• Sell new systems on the spot when appropriate, ensuring homeowners receive the best solutions for their comfort needs.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds long-term trust.

• Excellent communication – Ability to explain technical issues in a way homeowners understand
• EPA certification (NATE certification is a plus!)
