Job summary

MAA Dunwoody, GA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair across our apartment homes and property facilities. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry, and locks, and prepare apartments for move-in.

Qualifications include 1–3 years in multifamily maintenance or related fields, HVAC experience, EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification (within 90 days of hire), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good working order.
• Prepare apartments for move-in, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets and light fixtures, plumbing, carpentry and locks.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and update residents after repairs are complete.
