Job summary

Nelson & Company designs and installs engineered HVAC solutions for commercial customers who expect quality and reliability. As a Sales Support Engineer, you will work with Sales Engineers on quoting, equipment selection, submittals, and pricing to deliver the right solution within client constraints.

You will support the team behind the scenes, coordinate with vendors, and manage multiple quotes with attention to detail to help drive smooth projects from concept through delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical or engineering background and ability to communicate concepts.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage details and meet deadlines consistently.
• Desire to grow into a Sales Engineer role.
• Construction or mechanical engineering work experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or a similar drafting/design program (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes and assist with equipment selections from project plans and specifications.
• Assist in the development of submittals and supporting project documentation.
• Price HVAC equipment and parts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal team members to gather technical and pricing information.
• Manage multiple active quotes and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support the sales team with technical documentation and customer correspondence.
