Job summary

Ambient is looking for an Inside Sales Engineer to support Outside Sales Engineers in delivering HVAC solutions. Core responsibilities include commercial HVAC system design, estimation, and technical support for installations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. The position offers competitive compensation, including bonuses, health insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Previous experience with commercial HVAC equipment is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design programs is required.
• A deep understanding of construction and contracting models will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design and layout of commercial HVAC systems.
• Prepare accurate equipment selections and quotes for the Outside Sales team.
• Offer first-level technical support for equipment installations.
• Manage customer accounts ensuring exceptional service.
