Mitchell Heating & Cooling in Rolesville, NC is seeking an In Home Sales / Comfort Consultant to advise homeowners on optimal heating and cooling solutions. You will meet clients in their homes, present options, and guide them through the purchasing process.

After closing the sale, you will participate in the installation and support customers on operating the equipment. A hands-on sales training path and a customer-first mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in consultative sales, preferably in HVAC/home services.
• In-home sales experience in HVAC or related industry preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and follow-up skills.
• Must be goal-driven with ability to meet/exceed sales targets.
• Proficient with company tools and digital platforms.
• Comfort working in environments where HVAC equipment is located (attics, crawlspaces).
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers in their homes and professionally advise on heating/cooling solutions.
• Explain equipment options and guide customers through the purchase process.
• After sale, participate in the installation of replacement equipment.
• Answer questions about operation of installed equipment.
• Receive dispatch support and work with a back-up crew.
• Attend hands-on training on sales processes and equipment.

HVAC Sales - Residential | $120,000 - $220,00 per year, Base salary + commission, uncapped earning potential

Work Schedule:

Hours will vary based on the scheduling needs of customers, presentation times and seasonality. The sales consultant may regulate their work hours accordingly.

Job Duties:

• We are seeking an In Home Sales / Comfort Consultant with a high level of integrity, honesty, and a true appreciation for working with our customers to build long-term successful client relationships.
• This person will be meeting directly with our customers in their homes and professionally advising homeowners of the correct heating and cooling systems that offer the best solutions to fit their needs.
• After the sales is closed, you will be a part of the physical installation of the replacement equipment
• Answering customer questions about newly installed equipment and insuring customer knows how to operate equipment
• Support from our dispatcher and a crew that's got your back
• Hands-on training on sales process and equipment
