Job summary

Mitchell Heating and Cooling in Mount Pleasant, SC is hiring for an In Home Sales / Comfort Consultant. You will meet customers in their homes, recommend heating and cooling solutions, and guide them to the best system for their needs.

After sale, you may participate in installation and ensure customers understand operation of the new equipment. The role requires strong consultative sales experience, superb customer service, and the ability to work with our supportive team.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of experience in consultative sales
• In-home sales experience in HVAC or related industry preferred
• Excellent customer service, communication, and follow-up skills
• Highly goal-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets
• Proficient in using company-provided technology and digital tools
• Comfortable working in environments where HVAC systems are located, including attics and crawlspaces
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Responsibilities

• We are seeking an In Home Sales / Comfort Consultant with high integrity and a true appreciation for working with customers to build long-term relationships
• Meet directly with customers in their homes and professionally advise on heating and cooling systems that best fit their needs
• After the sale is closed, participate in the installation of replacement equipment
• Answer questions about newly installed equipment and ensure customers know how to operate it
• Support from our dispatcher and a crew that has your back
• Hands-on training on sales process and equipment

Work Schedule: Hours will vary based on the scheduling needs of customers, presentation times and seasonality | Monday to Saturdays | The sales consultant may regulate their work hours accordingly.

What You Will Be Doing:
