Job summary

Baker Distributing Company is seeking a Sales Representative to manage residential and contractor HVAC sales, support products, for a wholesale distributor carrying multiple brands. The role aims to develop client relationships to sell, acquire, and maintain a strong customer base supporting a Sales Center in a designated territory.

The position requires 2–4 years of HVAC sales experience, high school diploma or GED, and a preference for a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry.
• Experience with wholesale HVAC equipment supply is desirable.
• Proven sales and marketing background in HVAC wholesale distribution.
• Experience with residential and commercial contractor relationships is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Represent Baker Distributing Company as a leader in the industry.
• Secure maximum market share and sales dollars consistent with established policies.
• Solicit new accounts and develop market strategies.
• Maintain direct personal contact with all assigned accounts and foster relations with new ones.
• Take a proactive approach to sales development and problem solving.
• Resolve customer relations problems and issues with clients in a timely manner.
• Attend dealer meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive trips and similar functions.
• Participate in home product shows and industry events; stay current with product changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
