Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform thorough inspections and code-compliant repairs in residential settings. You will manage parts orders, submit POs, and support customers with clear communication.

The role includes mentoring apprentices and maintaining professional conduct on every call. Ideal candidates hold EPA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license; NATE or HVAC diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of residential HVAC operation and safety
• Ability to troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems
• Capable of mentoring apprentices and coaching peers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 0 to 5 years of work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Able to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.

Requirements

• EPA Certified.
• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• NATE Certification preferred.
• HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
• Valid driver’s license
