Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify root causes and propose solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install, repair, or replace components such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork.
  • Coordinate with team members to schedule work and efficiently complete service calls.
  • Communicate with customers professionally, explain repair options, and provide recommendations.
  • Document service activities, equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to enhance skills.

About the Role:

As an HVAC Technician - Service, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair residential HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting systems.

HVAC Technician - Service Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Residential Service HVAC Technician or similar role.
