Job summary

HVAC RNTL is seeking a Rental Sales Representative to focus on commercial customers in the New Jersey, New York, Delaware and Washington DC markets. The role centers on selling portable cooling equipment rental and related services by developing current and new customer relationships to meet yearly revenue targets.

You will develop a sales plan, manage accounts, cold call, deliver units, close deals, and collaborate with operations to ensure customer needs and collections are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of direct B2B sales experience.
• Proficiency with CRM systems to track customers and opportunities.
• HVAC equipment knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of construction/mechanical contracting industry is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and drive large vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Establish a customer base to promote and solicit new business by calling on regular and prospective commercial customers.
• Develop and achieve the annual Sales Plan with revenue, profitability and market growth targets.
• Quote prices, contract terms, delivery dates, and credit terms to customers using established processes.
• Demonstrate products using samples or catalogs and emphasize marketable features.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and expenses within specified timeframes.
• Coordinate with Sales Manager and Rental Coordinator to prepare contracts and invoicing.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure project objectives and schedules are met.
• Maintain accurate reports of customer contacts/transactions and progress.
• Provide technical sales assistance and promote safety culture.
