Job summary

HVAC RNTL is seeking a Rental Sales Representative to grow our commercial HVAC rental business in the New Jersey, New York, Delaware and Washington DC markets. You will develop and manage customer relationships, deliver quotes, arrange deliveries, and close deals to meet annual revenue targets.

The role requires 3+ years of B2B sales experience, field mobility, and strong communication. You will work with operations and finance teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely cash collection.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably in high-dollar value sales.
• Proficiency with customer relations systems to track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals and orders.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of the construction and mechanical contracting industry in the area is preferred.
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Establish a customer base by calling on regular and prospective commercial customers and close sales.
• Develop and achieve an Annual Sales Plan with revenue, profitability and growth targets.
• Quote prices, terms, delivery dates, and credit terms using established processes.
• Demonstrate products and emphasize marketable features using samples or catalogs.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and expenses within specified timeframes.
• Coordinate with Sales Manager and Rental Coordinator to prepare contracts and/or collections.
• Coordinate project specs with operations to meet schedules and customer needs.
• Maintain accurate reports of customer contacts and transactions.
• Prepare progress reports on pending opportunities and activities.
• Provide technical sales assistance and promote safety culture.
