Qualifications

HVAC/R certification and 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
Option 2: 4 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
Hold and maintains Type I and Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman where required.
Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and control panels, ensuring compliance with building codes and operational standards.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues across commercial and industrial equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units, walk-ins, and HVAC systems to maximize equipment longevity and minimize downtime.
Conduct inspections and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local HVAC/R regulations, including refrigerant handling and documentation.
Lead and mentor field teams, promoting safety practices and technical proficiency.
Manage service calls, coordinate with external providers, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Operate company vehicles safely to support service operations within assigned regions.
