Job summary

Walmart is seeking an HVAC/R Technician in Dallas, OR to install and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple facilities. You will interpret blueprints, calibrate direct digital controls, and ensure compliance with building codes while coordinating with managers and technicians.

You will also mentor apprentices, manage service calls, and maintain records, including refrigerant handling per EPA 608.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics.
• Interprets layouts and schematics to ensure accurate system setup and compliance with codes.
• Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues on commercial/industrial systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
• Mentors apprentices on technical procedures and safety practices.
• Drives a company vehicle to service calls and coordinates with customers and management.
