Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Greenville, TX seeks a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial facilities.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, perform preventive maintenance, and mentor field teams while coordinating service calls within assigned regions. On-call rotations are required to address critical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience or 4 years’ related field experience.
• EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC/refrigeration systems per codes.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues in commercial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime.
• Maintain refrigeration racks, walk-ins, and reach-ins per EPA protocols.
• Lead and mentor field teams on procedures and safety practices.
• Coordinate service calls and document refrigerant usage and maintenance.
• Operate company vehicles safely and participate in on-call rotations.
