Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services for HVAC-Refrigeration at the Cushing, OK facility. You will install and service HVAC and refrigeration systems, read blueprints, calibrate controls, and ensure building codes compliance.

The role leads field teams, participates in on-call rotations, and works with managers to plan preventive maintenance across multiple supermarket facilities. Strong HVAC-R credentials and driving ability required; on-the-job training and benefits accompany this

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification or equivalent required
• 2 years’ mechanical maintenance or construction-related experience for commercial HVAC/R and building controls
• Hold and maintains EPA certification for refrigerant handling

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and control panels
• Configures and calibrates low ambient systems and direct digital controls
• Interprets layout plans and schematics to ensure proper system setup
• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across commercial systems
• Implements preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime
