Job summary

Walmart Greenville TX is seeking a full-time Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial settings. You’ll diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure EPA 608 compliance while coordinating with teams across locations.

You will lead technicians, manage service calls, and work on-call to address critical needs. A valid HVAC/R cert and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
HVAC/R journeyman where required.
Valid state driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC/refrigeration systems per codes and standards.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues in commercial systems.
Perform preventive maintenance to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
Maintain refrigeration units (racks, walk-ins, reach-ins) per EPA 608 protocols.
Lead and mentor field technicians on procedures and safety.
Coordinate service calls, manage workload, document refrigerant usage.
Operate company vehicles safely for service calls in assigned regions.
Participate in on-call rotations for critical issues.
