Job summary

Red Hawk Resort + Casino is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across the property in Placerville, CA. The role requires hands-on experience with refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical tasks, and adherence to safety standards.

Expected duties include inspection of lighting, responding to maintenance requests, and maintaining a clean engineering workspace while coordinating with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Four years of experience with a significant combination of vocational education, apprenticeship training, or on-the-job training required.
• Refrigeration experience, EPA I & II or Universal License and HVAC Certification required.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Must have a good understanding of plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all mechanical and cosmetic items throughout the facility, including kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, minor electrical, plumbing, fabrication, construction.
• Routinely inspects all lighting throughout the property and resolves problems.
• Responds to maintenance requests and in-house calls.
• Maintains pool facilities (if they exist at the property) as assigned.
• Monitors workload and updates supervisor on job status.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area in the engineering shop.
• Prepares daily work forms and communicates with team members.
• Maintains parts inventory stock.
• Follows all safety policies and Cal-OSHA regulations.
• Assists other departments when needed.
