Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Reno is seeking a maintenance technician to perform a wide range of facility upkeep across the property, including mechanical, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience within hospitality settings and the ability to follow safety regulations.

The candidate should have at least three years of general building repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and comply with hotel and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Previous experience in engineering or facilities maintenance.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a general building repair technician, preferably in hospitality.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Implements routine maintenance and urgent repair following sound engineering practices and safety regulations.
• Monitors effects of servicing and maintenance on equipment where possible.
• Keeps all records of maintenance and testing.
• Performs preventive maintenance of all mechanical equipment.
• Lamp replacement and fixture repairs as needed.
• Repairs furniture and wallpaper, paint and drywall as required.
• Maintains daily logs and supports events and casino operations.
• Exemplifies core values and DEI culture.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
