Job summary

Walmart in Marshall, MO is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to install and service refrigeration systems, including ductwork and controls. You will interpret schematics, diagnose faults, and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will lead field teams, mentor apprentices, and support on-call rotations while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This role requires travel to multiple sites within the region.

Qualifications

• Option 1: HVAC/R cert and 2 years' mechanical maintenance or related field.
• Option 2: 4 years' mechanical maintenance or related field; EPA refrigerant cert; Journeyman status.
• Valid state driver's license and clean motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and refrigeration systems and ductwork.
• Configure direct digital controls to meet specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and refrigerant issues.
• Lead field teams and mentor apprentices on procedures and safety.
• Drive to service calls and support on-call rotations.
