Job summary

Nextech in Frisco, TX is hiring an HVAC/R Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial systems. You will troubleshoot, install, and perform preventive maintenance, documenting all service details and coordinating with customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required with HVAC/R field experience.
2+ years' experience as an HVAC/R technician preferred.
EPA certification and valid driver's license required.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills expected.
Ability to read schematics and work plans.
Proficiency with mobile apps and technology.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations.
Document all service details using company-provided iPads.
Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards.
Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
