Job summary

Nextech is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to install, troubleshoot and service commercial HVAC/R systems. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance while documenting work with iPads for our customers.

Responsibilities include on-site service, maintaining tools and vehicle, and clear communication with customers and dispatch. The role offers a sign-on bonus, company vehicle, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as HVAC/R field technician.
• EPA certification and a valid driver's license.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
• Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations.
• Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads.
• Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
• Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
