Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is hiring an HVAC/R Technician I to join our team and keep stores running smoothly, from Slurpee machines to refrigeration. You’ll respond to service requests, perform repairs, and maintain systems with modern tools while mentoring junior techs.

The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus (subject to change), medical/dental/vision coverage, a 401k plan, PTO/holidays, and tuition/adoption assistance to support your growth in our convenience-store network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• EPA 608 (Type I and II or Universal) Certification.
• 1+ years in HVAC or refrigeration repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, and other in-store equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of systems.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems using the latest tools and technology.
• Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with a supportive team.
