Job summary

7-Eleven is hiring an HVAC/R Technician I to keep our stores running smoothly, including maintaining Slurpee machines and in-store equipment. You will respond to service requests, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance in a fast-paced retail environment.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $3,000, comprehensive benefits, a 401k, PTO, and opportunities for growth. EPA 608 certification and a valid driver’s license are required or in progress; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 (Type I & II or Universal) certification required or obtainable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead when needed.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, and in-store equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of systems.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems with up-to-date tools.
• Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports for efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with a team.
