Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking an HVAC-R Technician I-II to support facilities across multiple locations. You will diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC-R systems, perform preventive maintenance, and work safely in school environments.

An apprentice HVAC-R program and a valid EPA universal CFC license are required, along with a driver’s license. The wage range is $32.79–$48.39 per hour, depending on experience, with full-time day shifts and overtime as needed. CMMS experience is a plus.

Formación

• HVAC-R Technician I requires HS diploma and apprenticeship plus four years of HVAC-R experience.
• HVAC-R Technician II requires five years in HVAC-R, with journey level proficiency.
• Must possess EPA universal CFC license and valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair HVAC-R systems in school facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC-R equipment and controls.
• Read diagrams, blueprints, and manuals; estimate time/materials.
• Mentor other HVAC-R staff as assigned.
