Job summary

Dakref is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to perform service and installation tasks for industrial and commercial customers. The role requires hands-on work, adherence to safety practices, and the ability to work with a team on time- and cost-sensitive projects.

Reading and applying manufacturer instructions, clear communication with customers and colleagues, and a strong HVAC/R background are essential. Willingness to travel and maintain licenses is expected.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; post-high school HVAC/R program 2+ years.
• Three+ years HVAC/R experience, preferably service/installation.
• Read and apply manufacturers' instructions; strong communication skills.
• Able to communicate with customers, management, suppliers and coworkers.
• Maintain HVAC/R skills through training and workshops; EPA refrigerant handling cert.
• State vehicle license; safe operation of company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine HVAC/R service and installation with minimal supervision.
• Leads or participates in teams for major HVAC/R jobs with efficiency and profitability.
• Supports other HVAC/R activities as assigned.
• Operates and maintains company vehicle in accordance with handbook.
• On-call duty after hours as required.
• Diagnoses and corrects refrigeration, electrical, heating, and air conditioning problems.
