Job summary

Dakref is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to perform service and installation tasks for industrial and commercial customers under minimal supervision. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems, coordinate with customers and team members, and ensure safe, efficient operation in diverse settings.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and HVAC/R training of 2+ years.
• 3+ years of HVAC/R service or installation experience.
• Ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions.
• Clear communication with customers, management and co-workers.
• Current EPA-approved refrigerant handling certification.
• Valid state driver’s license and insurability.
• Commitment to safety and continuous skills development.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine HVAC/R service and installation with limited supervision.
• Lead or participate in teams for service or installation jobs.
• Support other HVAC/R activities as needed.
• Operate and secure company vehicle per handbook.
• Occasional on-call after hours duty.
• Diagnose and correct refrigeration, electrical, heating and AC issues.
