Job summary

Dakref is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to perform service and installation tasks for industrial and commercial customers. The role involves working with a team to complete major jobs efficiently, with responsibilities that may include non-service activities as needed.

The position requires after-hours on-call duty, strong communication with customers and colleagues, and adherence to safety and company policies. Experience and EPA refrigerant handling certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2+ year HVAC/R program preferred.
• 3+ years HVAC/R experience, service or installation.
• Ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions.
• Clear communication with customers, management, suppliers and colleagues.
• Physical ability for day-to-day operations and safety.
• Active RSES member; EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• Maintain HVAC/R skills through training.
• Valid state vehicle license and ability to operate company fleet.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine HVAC/R service and installations with minimal supervision.
• Serve as team member/leader on major service or installation jobs.
• Assist with non-service HVAC/R activities as needed.
• Operate and secure company vehicle per handbook.
• Occasional after-hours on-call duties.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
