Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC– Refrigeration Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC and light industrial equipment. The role includes inventory checks, parts provisioning, and adherence to safety regulations.

Local travel within a 2.5 hour radius of residence is required. Responsibilities include troubleshooting controls, performing repairs, providing daily reports, maintaining tools and vehicles, and ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and willingness to cross-train on additional equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with commercial HVAC-R equipment (Walk-in freezers, reach-in freezers, ice machines, coolers).
• EPA Certification and valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to provide own set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electronic and electrical components of HVAC systems.
• Repair and preventive maintenance of commercial HVAC and refrigeration units.
• Identify parts and locate sources of problems through observation and testing.
• Provide daily reports and communicate with store managers, supervisor, and office staff.
• Replace defective parts using hand and power tools; verify part accuracy and timely calls.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety regulations and maintain company vehicle.
