Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC– Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair commercial HVAC-R equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical components, and ensure parts are available and properly stocked.

You will also communicate with store managers and supervisors and adhere to safety regulations. The role requires mapping out repairs, maintaining vehicles, and performing year‑round work with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with commercial HVAC-R equipment (Walk-in/Reach-in units, ice machines, coolers).
• EPA Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to cross-train on additional equipment for year‑round work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components of HVAC-R units.
• Perform repair and preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Locate sources of problems by observing devices and listening for issues.
• Provide daily reports and communicate with store managers, regional supervisor, and office administrator.
• Remove defective parts using hand/power tools and identify correct parts quickly.
• Adhere to OSHA and DOC safety regulations and maintain company vehicle.
