Job summary

Walmart is seeking a qualified HVAC/R technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and energy-management tasks across multiple Walmart facilities. You will handle paperwork, update scopes of work, and ensure compliance with safety and EPA regulations.

EPA 608 certification and a valid driver’s license are required, with travel to various sites as needed. Experience in maintenance of commercial HVAC/R, building controls, and proficiency with hand tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification required or within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.
• 1 year’s experience in plumbing/electrical or related area, or 2 years Walmart store experience.
• Commercial driving record with no major convictions in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R equipment and building controls.
• Process required paperwork and coordinate with management and coworkers.
• Identify priorities, deadlines, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure safety guidelines and EPA regulations are followed.
