Job summary

Nextech is hiring an Installation Technician in Austin, TX to install light commercial HVACR equipment and related controls. You will organize work assigned by the Manager and maintain records, with a company vehicle taken home nightly.

You’ll receive paid training, tool allowance, and access to top-tier health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401(k) with company match. This full-time role pays $25–$35 per hour and includes generous PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• HVACR experience: minimum 2 years in installation roles.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a company vehicle to job sites.
• Install and commission light commercial HVACR equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Prepare ductwork measurements and fabricate as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and Nextech policies.
• Collaborate with team for timely project completion.
• Complete documentation including IVR check-in and photos.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
